The question we’re getting most right now is some version of “is this a good time to buy or sell?”🧐
And our honest answer is... it depends on you.
Rates aren’t where any of us hoped they’d be. The market isn’t the same as it was a few years ago. And yes, those things matter. But here’s what we’ve learned watching OC real estate through different cycles: the best time to make a move has always had less to do with the market and more to do with your life.
If you can afford the home, and the home fits your life, waiting for perfect conditions rarely pencils out the way people hope. If you need to sell because your family is growing, your commute isn’t working, or you’re just ready for the next chapter, a slower market with serious buyers is still a market that works.🏡
Q4 in OC is quieter than spring. But quiet doesn’t mean dead. It means the people in it are serious. Buyers who are ready to move. Sellers who want to close. And a lot less noise in between.
