So sad to see the Jacksonville MOSH museum go, but not forever!

Although the current building located on the Southbank riverwalk has served the Jacksonville community from 1969 through to its closure in September of 2025, it is preparing to move to the Northbank Shipyards.

With an expected opening date in 2028, MOSH Genesis is expected to be a major upgrade from the outgoing museum. Although bittersweet for many who have visited the old location over the years, we are excited to welcome new growth and development in downtown Jacksonville!
