Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1954 for investment banker Charles F. Glore, the Glore House in Lake Forest, Illinois, stands among the architect's final residential works and his only commission in the city.
The home embodies Wright's philosophy of organic architecture, where building and landscape exist in harmony.
Soaring glass walls frame the surrounding woodland, filling the interiors with natural light, while warm brick, wood, and custom-built furnishings create spaces that feel both intimate and timeless.
More than seventy years after its completion, the Glore House remains a remarkable example of Wright's ability to blend geometry, craftsmanship, and nature into a single architectural vision.
