It was truly an honor helping this veteran first-time homebuyer and his family purchase their dream home in the Inland Empire. ๐Ÿก
Unfortunately, their journey started with another loan officer less knowledgeable and the loan was mistakenly pre-approved. Several guideline errors in the application put the entire transaction at risk, which would have likely resulted in a denial with most lenders.
Instead of letting the deal fall apart, I went to work. I leveraged my lender network and found a lending partner that could make an exception and successfully fund the loan and fast enough to make up for the time lost with the previous lender.
Even better, we were able to:
โœ” Secure a significantly lower interest rate than the previous lender
โœ” Reduce the overall fees
โœ” Provide a $1,000 lender credit toward closing costs
Seeing this family get the keys to their new home made all the effort worth it. Helping those who have served our country achieve homeownership is something I take great pride in.
