Should you pay off your mortgage early?

Do you see the $695,000 + net worth improvement with the RIGHT mortgage strategy and structure?

I've run through this scenario hundreds of times, and using the excess cash-flow to pay down the mortgage early, and then, reallocating ALL of the monthly cash-flow into low cost diversified ETF such as Vanguard VOO assuming an average compounded rate of return of 9.5% (historically after fees, the ROI is 11.3%).
The only time these numbers do not work is if the interest rate is below 3% on the mortgage. Below is a new client who is set-up on a bi-weekly mortgage + $100 extra per payment period. You can see their interest savings, payoff date, and then what the redirected capital would grow to in VOO after mortgage payoff.

🚨 The MOST Expensive Part of Your Mortgage?

It's not the interest rate...
It's the mistakes you make on Day #1

Most homebuyers spend weeks shopping for the lowest rate.

Very few spend even 30 minutes learning "how" to structure their mortgage to save tens—or even hundreds—of thousands of dollars!

Here's a real example:
🏡 $500,000 FHA Loan
✅ 30-Year Fixed
✅ 6.25% Interest Rate
✅ 3.5% Down
Monthly Principal & Interest: $3,078.59
(Taxes, insurance, and mortgage insurance not included.)

Now here's where it gets interesting...

Instead of making one payment each month, simply make:

✔️ Half your payment on the 1st
✔️ The other half on the 15th

You haven't increased your payment...
You haven't refinanced...
You haven't changed your interest rate...

Yet the results are incredible:
✅ Mortgage paid off in 24.42 years instead of 30
✅ $133,563.93 less interest paid
✅ Effective borrowing cost drops from 6.25% to about 5.08%

Now take it one step further...

Add just $100 to each half-payment (an extra $200 per month total).

Your results become:
🔥 Mortgage paid off in only 21.42 years
🔥 $200,141.19 in interest savings
🔥 Effective borrowing cost falls to approximately 4.46%

Same loan.
Same rate.
Different strategy.

This is why I always tell my clients:

The mortgage you choose matters... but how you manage it matters even more.
Before you sign loan documents, make sure someone has shown you the long-term cost—not just the monthly payment.

📩 Send me a message with the word MISTAKES and I'll send you a link for our next FREE CLASS where we cover simple mortgage strategies that could save you thousands over the life of your loan.

Example assumes consistent on-time biweekly payments beginning immediately and no changes to the loan terms. Results are illustrative and may vary based on payment timing, servicer application of payments, escrow requirements, and other factors. Always verify how your mortgage servicer applies partial and biweekly payments before implementing a payment strategy.

🚨 STOP SCROLLING — READ THIS 🚨

This is Carlos. He’s 65 years old. He rented his entire life.

Last month his rent was $2,530… and rising. This week? He got the keys to his first home.

His new fixed mortgage payment — for life — is:

👉 $1,462.28 per month

That’s $1,000+ LESS than rent. Locked in. Forever. Think about that.

And here’s the part that shocks people:
He bought this home with just 10% down. Yes — 10%

And he could have bought it with $0 down for $1,718.07/month… Still cheaper than renting...

Carlos was referred to me by Redfin. He showed up. He asked questions. He took one step forward and never stopped. And now he owns a home for less than he was paying in rent.

So, I’ll ask you the same question:

👉 What are you waiting for?

Stop waiting for “someday.”

Stop assuming you can’t.

Stop letting rent steal your future.

Today is the new tomorrow.

If you want clarity, confidence, and a real plan — join me next Saturday.
