Never done this on a company, but this is how we fared:
⚠️ WARNING: PALMER REAL ESTATE — ORANGEVALE, CA ⚠️
If you've never dealt with Palmer Real Estate before, there are a few things you should probably know.
First, don't expect to be treated like a transaction. That's apparently not how Sean and Colette Palmer operate. Their whole reputation seems to have been built around relationships, answering the phone, telling people the truth, and sticking around when a real estate deal gets complicated.
And they've been doing this for about two decades. Palmer Real Estate is an independent Orangevale brokerage with deep roots in the community.
Here's the bigger warning:
They know Orangevale.
Not "I looked up the comps this morning" know Orangevale.
They've sold a LOT of homes there, they've been involved in the community for years, and their business is tied to the town and the people who live in it. Zillow currently shows Sean Palmer's team with a 5.0 rating from 77 reviews and more than 90 sales in Orangevale reflected on his profile.
And if you're negotiating against them?
Pay attention.
Clients repeatedly describe Sean as knowledgeable, responsive, professional and strong in negotiations. One verified seller specifically said they hired him because they expected tough negotiations—and credited him with delivering multiple viable offers above asking price.
But here's probably the biggest thing to watch out for:
You might actually become friends with them.
They're the kind of real estate people who remember their clients, answer questions long after the transaction is over, recommend contractors, solve problems, show up at community events and somehow seem to know somebody for just about everything.
Their stated philosophy is “Ethics, Honesty, Knowledge, Service.”
So if you're looking for slick, corporate, hand-you-off-to-an-assistant real estate...
⚠️ You've been warned.
But if you want experienced local people who know the community, aren't afraid to tell you what they think, will fight for you when it matters, and are probably still going to recognize you at the grocery store five years later...
Palmer Real Estate might be exactly the kind of trouble you're looking for. ❤️🏡
