Enjoy views of Willamette Falls from 99E viewpoints in old Oregon City environs. The Falls is in the midst of an historical panorama of the old hydroelectric power structures. But in the river, seals or river otters (bystanders debated what they were seeing), cavort and dive for fish. The free Municipal Elevator is not to be missed and there is reportedly a ghost story of a small boy that appears to some. Elevator Street is reportedly the only vertical street as well as only outdoor elevator of this kind in the U.S., serving the needs of a split-level city. Below is a quaint town with building murals and fun walkability, while the upper level has the river promenade and many historic houses along with beautiful flowers and gardens along the walk.

EMERGENCY FREEZE NOTICE TO ALL RESIDENTS

Severe subfreezing weather is forecast for our area. We must all act quickly to prevent pipes in our apartment community from freezing.

WE ASK THAT ALL RESIDENTS ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING PRECAUTIONS:
Please make sure the heat is left on and set no lower than 55 degrees. If you plan to be away, have someone check your house daily to make sure the heat is still on to prevent freezing.
Please allow all of your water faucets to drip steadily 24 hours a day.
Please keep all windows closed in your apartment unit.
Be sure to open the cabinet doors under the kitchen sink and bathroom sink(s) to allow heat to get to the plumbing.
If you have washer/dryer units in your apartment, especially those located on any outside patio or in any outside closet, follow these steps to help prevent those water lines from freezing and breaking:
1) Turn both the hot and cold water lines off.
2) Disconnect these water lines from the back of your washing machine.
3) Place both water lines into the drain pipe behind the washing machine.
4) Turn both water lines back on so that a steady drip continues for 24 hours a day.
5) When you want to wash clothes, remember to reconnect the water lines.
Notify management at 503.303.4094 ASAP if you notice any water running from a building or from behind your walls.
As an additional precaution, it is advisable to stay indoors during severe weather. If you must walk on icy, wet, or snowy sidewalks, you should wear shoes that have a good tread. Be aware that ice forms on wooden steps and porches before it shows up on sidewalks. Keep in mind that frost can also cause slippery surfaces.

Concierge Services at The Landing

Dry Cleaning
For your convenience we have teamed up with A+ Dry Cleaners to offer our residents at The Landing dry-cleaning service. A+ Dry Cleaners will pick up your dry cleaning on Tuesday at the office and return it on Thursday. Call or stop by the office if you have any questions.

Did I Turn It Off?
If you leave your home and are not sure whether you turned off an appliance such as a coffee pot, iron, stove, etc., just call during office hours and we will check for you.

Messages
We are happy to take messages from daytime visitors when you are out. Just have your visitors stop by the office.

Reserving the Clubhouse
Our clubhouse is your party headquarters. If you’d like to reserve the clubhouse for any type of group gathering, call the office. We’re happy to help!

Packages
If you’re expecting a UPS or Federal Express packages but are unable to wait for it yourself, we’ll be happy to accept the package for you and keep it in the office until you can pick it up. Just instruct your carrier to drop off the package at The Landing Management Office, and we’ll hold it for you for five days. If you are unable to pick-up your package and you email us permission to enter we can deliver your package to your home.

Free Copies
For your convenience, residents are allowed to make a small number of copies on the office copy machine at no charge. Stop by if you need a copy a document or two and we’ll set you up.

Fax to Send?
For your convenience, residents are allowed to send faxes from the office fax machine for free (to local fax numbers only). Stop by if you need to fax a document and we’ll be happy to help.

The Landing now offers dry cleaning drop off and pick up! Here's how it works: drop off at the leasing office by Tuesday and pick up Thursday. Simple as that!
