Was glad to see Utah on this list. We are 9th out of 50 states- would like to help this stat reach to #1 but was also nice to see we had the lowest unemployment rate of all the states!!!! no surprise there with all the jobs available here in our state.

Policies and programs in some areas of the country are helping more people qualify for a home purchase.

Here are some startling statistics!!
* Orange County, CA median home price is $1.1 million
* Utah County, UT median home price is $450,000 which is up from $334,000 last year.

Our nations low supply of homes coupled with historic low interest rates is accelerating the prices with no end in sight until interest rates start rising and our supply problem improves.

Thinking of moving to Utah? Check out Utah County home prices and stats. When I compare an average home in Orange County, CA to a home in Utah County, I would say a home costing $900,000 in Mission Viejo would probably be about $400,000 in Utah county.

The National Association of Realtors just published this statistic. Not surprised to see Utah on the list. My office is located right in the heart of it in Orem, UT and my CA office is in Corona Del Mar. Only Alaska and Utah had job growth last year, and due to the quality of life, housing prices, and new jobs especially in the "Silicon Slopes" are we are seeing historic growth in Utah.
