If your following the Burnett v. NAR case, you may have mixed feeling about using a Realtor for your next sale/purchase. Every time I meet with a new client, I volunteer the facts that yes, they could do this process on their own and they wouldn’t have to pay a dime. In fact the part I hate most about being an agent is the idea that I have to “sell myself”. But the choice to use a Realtor becomes very clear when we review the benefits of using an agent, we walk through the timeline of buying or selling, and review the Agent agreement together.
I always start with: this is one of the most important decisions you’ll ever make, and definitely one of the most expensive. This process is never easy, emotional and can have lasting consequences.
You’re experience is as good as your preparation, experience and compassion you have on your team.
