Fearless. That’s my word for 2025—and here’s why.

A few years ago, I took a leap into real estate because I wanted to help families find their dream homes. But if I’m honest, fear held me back from showing up fully. Fear of rejection, fear of failure, and fear of stepping into the unknown.

This year, I’ve decided to change the narrative. I’m no longer waiting for the ‘perfect time.’ I’m no longer letting fear sit in the driver’s seat. I’ve left behind the comfort zone of what I thought I should do and am fully committing to what I know I’m called to do: helping families and empowering women to take bold steps toward their dreams.

Here are some common reasons this can happen and how to avoid them 👇🏾

→ Lenders check your credit multiple times during the process.

New debt, missed payments, or a lower score can affect your approval. 💰

Pro Tip: Avoid big purchases and keep up with payments until closing.

→ Switching jobs or experiencing a drop in income could lead to a re-evaluation.

→ If the home appraises for less than the loan amount, lenders may not cover the full price.

→ Issues with Title and outstanding liens can halt a sale until they’re resolved.
