Mark your calendars for the Environmental Enhancement Commission’s annual Recycling Extravaganza from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 22 in the south parking lot at the 80th Avenue train station, 18001 S. 80th Avenue.

The EEC will be accepting shredding and many hard-to-recycle materials like Styrofoam, electronics, and much more.
