As of TODAY, Zillow is no longer showing accurate listing information for many homes in the Chicagoland market. 😳
Homes that are already under contract, pending, or even CLOSED are still showing as “active” on Zillow… while some brand new listings from the last 24 hours aren’t showing up at all.
This is happening because of a major dispute between Zillow and Chicago’s MLS system, MRED, which powers listing data for the area. Thousands of listings have reportedly disappeared or stopped updating correctly. 
So if you’re scrolling Zillow thinking:
