Today is a day I never thought would come — my last day at Spirit Airlines.
I started this journey in November of 2019, right before the COVID-19 pandemic, and at the time, I truly believed this would be my forever airline.
During my time here, I was incredibly fortunate to build lifelong friendships, grow into an instructor, upgrade to Captain, and support the HR team during job fairs and events like “Meet the Chiefs.”
Like many, I experienced the ups and downs — first through the pandemic, and later through the company’s financial challenges. But those moments pushed me out of my comfort zone and led me to discover a passion for real estate that I genuinely love.
It also gave my wife and me one of the most unforgettable chapters of our lives — buying an RV and driving it from Florida to Las Vegas, where we lived for almost a year. The memories we made during that time will stay with us forever.
There’s so much I’m grateful for that I couldn’t possibly fit it all into one post.
Thank you, Spirit Airlines, for everything.
The good and the challenging moments alike shaped who I am today.
