Living in Disney’s backyard means I don’t usually spend more than an hour or two in the parks at a time. When my family from Jersey is in town, though…that’s a different story!

Yall - let the record show that the week before Labor Day is an amazing time to visit. We had low wait times all day! A bunch of rides were walk ons, and even the more popular attractions had much lower waits than usual.

Overall, it was such a fun day with my family! ❤️✨

🐊 TOURIST TRAP OR SLAP: GATORLAND 🐊

I’ve lived in Central Florida for YEARS and finally decided it was time to answer the important question: is Gatorland actually worth visiting?

Verdict: SLAP. 👏

Is it a little kitschy? Absolutely. But that’s kind of the point. 😂 There’s WAY more to do than I expected, and for the price of admission, I think it’s 100% worth experiencing at least once.

My take: you probably don’t need a full day, but it’s a perfect half-day Central Florida adventure, especially if you want a break from the theme parks.

Plus…where else are you casually ziplining over alligators?! 🐊
