“Wait…is the AC still leaking?” Definitely not what you want to hear at the final walkthrough, especially for a brand-new home.
My clients fell in love with a new-construction property in Ocala: modern, spacious, and perfect for their pups to run around. After touring nearly 25 homes (yes, 25!), we found the one that checked all their boxes. But during inspection a few weeks back, we discovered the AC unit had stopped working. It got fixed quickly, but at closing, we spotted a lingering issue…a potential small freon leak that could cause trouble down the road.
Here’s the deal: Real estate isn’t always predictable, but it is about putting people first and solving problems. We worked closely with the builder and the AC company, ensuring everything was addressed. In the end, my clients walked away smiling, champagne in hand, and excited about their new chapter.
