I'm starting a new series highlighting some of the amazing local businesses, hidden gems, and people that make Lake County such a special place to call home.

First up... Twisted Biscuit in Tavares 🥞☕️
This morning I stopped by for breakfast, and if you've never been, it's definitely one of those places you need to add to your list.
What makes them stand out? Their biscuits. And not just your typical biscuits.

They have flavors like Cookies & Cream, Dark Chocolate Strawberry, and Very Berry, plus savory options like Bacon and Cheddar and their famous Hot Honey Chicken Biscuit that keeps people coming back again and again. 🤤

You can tell why they've become such a staple in our community over the years. The food is unique, the portions are generous, and there's always something new on the menu to try.

But what I love most about highlighting local businesses isn't just the food, it's the people and stories behind them. 🫶🏼

Places like this are part of what makes Lake County feel like home. They're where families gather after church, friends meet for breakfast, and visitors get a taste of what our community is all about.

As someone who loves serving this community both as a Realtor and a local resident, I think it's important to support the businesses that help make Lake County such a great place to live. 🩷

A sign in the yard is the bare minimum. Getting buyers emotionally connected before they even walk through the door? That’s the goal. 🏡

Things I’m doing before your open house even starts:

• Blowing off driveways & walkways
• Adjusting lighting/opening blinds for natural light
• Making sure the home smells fresh & inviting
• Rearranging small details for better flow/photos
• Creating social media marketing
• Following up with every agent & buyer for feedback
• Making sure your home feels warm, clean, and memorable the second people pull up

Because when you hire me, you’re not just hiring someone to list your house. You’re hiring someone who genuinely cares about how your home is presented to the world. ☀️

Realtor to Realtor… I hope you win. 🤍

Not everyone is going to see your vision, your grind, or your potential the way you do. I’ve been told real estate may not be my calling, and I’ve been judged for doing things differently to grow my business. But one thing I’ve learned is this career isn’t about proving people wrong, it’s about proving to yourself that you’re capable of more.

Maybe real estate isn’t for everyone, but if your heart is in it and you’re willing to put in the work, don’t let someone else’s opinion convince you to quit before your breakthrough happens.

Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep growing. Your time is coming, and I’ll always root for the agents who refuse to give up. 🏡
