One thing I’ve learned about leadership is that you can’t pour into others if you’re not committed to pouring into yourself.
A year ago, I made the decision to invest in my own growth through the Women on the Rise Spring Cohort. At the time, I knew I was stepping into a space that would challenge me, but I didn’t fully understand how much that experience would impact the way I show up not only as a leader, but as a person.
Over the past year, I’ve grown in confidence, communication, self-awareness, and the way I support the people around me. I’ve learned that leadership is not about having all the answers. It’s about being willing to learn, listen, grow, and continue becoming better.
That growth has allowed me to show up stronger for my team, my community, and the people I have the privilege of serving every day.
It was such a beautiful moment celebrating the Women on the Rise Spring Cohort Class of 2026. Congratulations ladies! You made an investment in yourself that will continue to impact you long after graduation. The connections, lessons, and growth you experience through this journey are truly priceless.
I’m also incredibly grateful to now be a part of the Women on the Rise leadership team and have the opportunity to help create the same kind of impact for other women.
