Thank you for all the great birthday and New Year's wishes and messages!! Maybe you know it was a sad time of reflection for me as we said our final goodbyes to my ex-husband, Roger. It feels like I said goodbye to a huge part of my life that I don't want to lose, but I am grateful he is at peace now. I wish more people would realize just because you have an ex-spouse or ex-girlfriend or boyfriend does not necessarily mean you stop caring. Once you accept someone into your heart, (at least my heart), you will always matter in some way. If more people would allow that, and be grateful for the time you had, there may be fewer estranged people, especially children in this world. There is enough hate in this world without that.
Let's turn the page on 2023 and put our sights and energy on 2024! (See my 2024 glasses!) These are interesting times. We are entering 2 once-in-a-lifetime shifts: 1) the wealth transfer from baby boomers to the heirs and 2) an intelligence revolution with artificial intelligence. Both will be influencing society in many ways over the next many years. Pepper in politics today and virtual reality and the only constant I know is we will all need to be able to walk, sleep and live with the ground below us and buildings around us, so real estate should thrive regardless! I am glad to be in real estate! Bet you did not see that coming. Happy New Year!!
