Unpopular opinion but the neighborhood you buy in will change your quality of life more than the extra bedroom will!
Moving from New York to Florida I learned this one the hard way. When we bought our first home it was all about the size, bedroom count, square footage, does it check the boxes And it did but the neighborhood was never quite the right fit.
So after a while I couldn’t ignore that feeling and my whole thinking shifted. The next time around, I led with the neighborhood instead. We found one I was completely obsessed with and we bought there. And honestly, it changed our life in every way that actually matters…
