Las Vegas has approved a 50-unit tiny home community on a vacant 2.25-acre lot, with each 360-square-foot unit expected to rent for $1,000 a month including utilities. The $6 million project will use Boxabl modular units, the same Las Vegas-based company whose homes Elon Musk famously owns. The median asking rent in Las Vegas is currently $1,423, making the new units a significantly more affordable option.
