As most of you know, cycling has been her life! Her passion, her purpose, and so much more than just a workout๐ดโโ๏ธ
On April 1, her world changed overnight. She found out, along with everyone else, that the owners of the studio she had poured so much of herself into had stopped paying the rent and the studio was being evicted. With almost no warning, she had just 15 days to process what was happening, support her team, and somehow break the news to hundreds of members who had become family.
I remember our conversations during that time. She felt blindsided, heartbroken, and powerless. But what stood out to me most was that her biggest concern wasnโt herself.
It was her people๐ค
She worried about their physical health, of course, but even more about their mental health because hat studio was never just a place to work out. It was a community. A support system. A family.
And instead of staying stuck in the hurt, complaining, or placing blame, she turned that pain into motivation.
She didnโt know exactly how she was going to do it. She just knew she was going to find a way to make it right for the community she loved, even though none of what happened was her fault and she had been given absolutely no warning.
This weekend, she finally got to announce what sheโs been quietly building behind the scenes: a brand-new studio and a brand-new brand Collective Body Winter Park
I am beyond excited for her, her team, and the entire community to see what she has created in just a few short months.
Congratulations to my sister and the entire Collective Body Winter Park Your resilience, loyalty, and determination are something to be incredibly proud of.
P.S. Please donโt open too soon because then Iโm officially out of excuses for why Iโm not working out anymore๐๐
I love you, sister. You are truly an inspiration๐ซถnot only to me, but to everyone lucky enough to be part of your communityโค๏ธ
