Clermont Fl.
Farmer’s Market
Open Every Sunday
9am – 2pm
The event is located from City Hall (between 7th Street and Lake Avenue) to near Livi & Tate (between 8th Street and West Avenue) on West Montrose Street in Downtown Clermont. The event is free to the public. Convenient ‘close-in’ parking is also free and is easily accessible from Minneola Street to public parking lots throughout downtown including City Hall’s two public parking lots (7th and Desoto).
Upwards to 70 to 80 ‘regular’ vendors, plus a number of seasonal merchants, join Downtown’s locally-owned small businesses, eateries and shops to offer shoppers and visitors the largest and the longest running weekly Sunday market in south Lake County. Now in its ninth year, the open-air market features fresh fruits and vegetables, including citrus, conventional and hydroponic produce, and booths offering fresh and frozen fish, free-range eggs, freshly baked breads and pastries and many Cottage Industry goods. A sampling of other items shoppers can expect to find range from dried Mexican delicacies to gluten-free items, dip mixes, teas, dried soups and Italian Olive Salad and other edibles. Food and food preparation/storage offerings are emphasized; however, many vendors offer handmade and homemade crafts, wearables, collectables, jewelry and even pet products (leashes, collars, clothing). Some notable features include knife sharpening, live music on the street, a small animal petting farm near the South Lake Animal League, and a number of vendors with plants, shrubs and trees. Downtown shops, including some of Clermont’s favorite casual dining restaurants, are open for business every day and welcome Farmer’s Market & Merchant Faire shoppers to experience the flavor and hospitality found in these locally-owned small businesses.
