💡Remember, even though they're super nice to you, the sales office represents the builder, not the buyer. You want a win-win, not just whatever the builder decides you get. Make sure you sign in with my information as your Realtor so that you can be represented and I can negotiate on your behalf during the sale if you later choose to buy. If you're just browsing, many people think they don't need to put their Realtor's information down, but all too often, that browse turns into a sale and the seller (builder) often won't let anyone bring in representation later. Bring me in at the beginning, and that way there's no question: your needs and interests will be represented & supported. 🙂

Would you buy a new construction home? Prices for newly built homes fell to a four-year low in the fall as builders cut prices, according to a report delayed by the government shutdown. The median price dropped to $392,300, down 8% year over year and the lowest since 2021.

About 40% of builders reported cutting prices and 67% offered incentives like mortgage rate buydowns, moves aimed at easing affordability pressures and attracting buyers back into the market.
