Pool vs. NO Pool: Which wins? 🤔

This is one of the largest backyard debates I hear from my current Florida homeowners, or from my clients considering buying a home in Orlando!

Most buyers dreaming of buying a home in Florida envision a sparkling private pool in the backyard. But here is a little insider secret most new construction builders don’t tell you: standard packages rarely include a private pool anymore. Instead, the trend is shifting toward massive, shared community resort-style pools.
If you decide to add a private pool yourself later, it can get incredibly expensive.

If you decide to skip the pool, you have a backyard canvas that you can do a variety of things with! You can use that space for a playground for the kids, a beautiful patio for entertaining, backyard garden, or even a much more budget-friendly above-ground pool down the road.

Just in case you needed a sign to go to SeaWorld this week 👀

Thinking about taking the kids to SeaWorld but not sure if it’s worth it if they can’t ride the big coasters? Think again!

I spent the day exploring the incredible animal habitats and kid-friendly areas, and it is an educational and fun summer escape. From watching the majestic orca whales, playful dolphins, and belugas, to getting up close with walruses and penguins, there is so much magic to see without ever stepping foot on a ride.

If you have little ones, Sesame Street Land is an absolute must.

Pro-Tip for Parents: Don’t miss Big Bird’s Storytime and the Sesame Street Party Parade! And when the summer sun gets a bit too warm, head straight over to the Rubber Duckie Water Works splash pad. It is the perfect spot for little kids to cool down and play.
