My law degree & experiences provide valuable experience in contract work & negotiations. My philosophy is a simple one: Take genuine care of your client & always go above & beyond. As the daughter of the Broker of the company, Taylor grew up in a real estate household. Her mother was a successful sales agent, her father a contractor specializing in residential remodels; so, Taylorโ€™s love for real

estate is truly in her blood! But before becoming a successful sales agent, Taylor needed to accomplish a few other things first. After graduating from Seabreeze High School, Taylor attended the University of Florida for her undergraduate degree in Criminology, Law, and Business Administration and then went on to Florida State University College of Law for her law degree. She is a former real estate attorney and previously served as in-house counsel for a large insurance brokerage, focused exclusively on buying insurance brokerages across the United States. Although Taylor was on the fast track in the legal field and still has an active law license, she could not get real estate out of her blood so she left the field of law to manage the Port Orange office of GWRE and help grow the family business, as well as feed her true passion of sales. Taylorโ€™s law degree and experiences provide valuable experience in contract work and negotiations. Her personal experience buying, selling and flipping houses has given her great perspective as a real estate agent as she knows exactly what it is like to be a buyer, seller and investor. Taylor puts her expertise in all areas to work for her clients to make certain that their real estate experience exceeds all expectations. I've seen a lot of posts lately saying Florida is getting rid of property taxes. That's not exactly what's being proposed... ๐Ÿค” The proposal is to increase the homestead exemption from $50k to $150k (2027) and then $250k (2028) for many homeowners, which could reduce property taxes significantly for some people . ๐—•๐˜‚๐˜ ๐—ถ๐˜ ๐—ฑ๐—ผ๐—ฒ๐˜€ **๐—ป๐—ผ๐˜** ๐—ฐ๐—ผ๐—บ๐—ฝ๐—น๐—ฒ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—น๐˜† ๐—ฒ๐—น๐—ถ๐—บ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ ๐—ฝ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐˜๐˜† ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜…๐—ฒ๐˜€, ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐—ฐ๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ผ๐—น ๐˜๐—ฎ๐˜…๐—ฒ๐˜€ ๐˜„๐—ผ๐˜‚๐—น๐—ฑ ๐˜€๐˜๐—ถ๐—น๐—น ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ถ๐—ป.

The other piece that doesn't seem to be getting much attention is where the money comes from. ๐Ÿ’ฐ

Property taxes fund things like roads, parks, fire services ๐Ÿš’, law enforcement ๐Ÿš”, and local government operations. If those tax revenues are reduced, the money has to come from somewhere else, services have to be cut, or local governments have to find other ways to make up the difference.

Don't get me wrong, I think everyone would love a lower tax bill. ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ But before we start celebrating the end of property taxes in Florida, it's worth understanding what is actually being proposed and what the long-term impact could be.

If you told me 6 years ago that I wouldn't be practicing law and would instead be selling houses like my mom, I would have told you that you were crazy. ๐Ÿค” But I found my passion. ๐Ÿกโœจ

I love helping people buy and sell homes. I love negotiating deals. I love solving problems. I love getting creative when a transaction hits a roadblock. I love helping people figure out how to make a deal work when everyone else thinks it can't.

The funny part is that real estate has become such a big part of our lives that my kids use their play phones and computers to call "customers," sell houses, and do "research." ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿ  Apparently they're already following in the family business.

I'm incredibly grateful for the success I've had, but none of it happens without the people who trust me to help them through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives. So thank you. Today's inspection came with a bonus feature: the buyer's son volunteered to handle the property tour. ๐Ÿก๐Ÿ˜† He gave his official review, pointed out a few important details (according to him), and seemed pretty excited about the possibilities.
