My name is Linda Kalkhurst, I'm originally from upstate New York and had been living in the Orlando, Florida area for the past 25 years. I love the beach! I often asked myself why we moved to a state surrounded by water and chose to live smack dab in the middle. Many years ago we decided to look for a second home at the beach that we could enjoy on weekends and holidays and enjoy a little rental i

ncome. We discovered Ormond Beach. This is a beautiful beachside community that is relaxing and quiet yet only fifteen minutes south to all the Daytona Beach action and fifteen minutes north to Flagler Beach, another great beach community. When looking for a beach home, we simply wanted a "clean bed at the beach." We also needed a backyard for our pups. Since it was a second home, we didn't need anything extravagant. We had a budget and we were not going to exceed it. We were elated to find a single family, concrete block home just a short stroll to the beach. Why drive to the beach when you can walk? This is amazing! It didn't take long for us to fall in love with living at the beach. Now, it is my passion to help others find their Bed at the Beach.
