Make sure you don't overlook the chance to experience the Arizona Heroes Memorial. Situated in Naranja Park, it provides a stunning view of the Catalina Mountains. This memorial is dedicated to paying tribute to the brave individuals including active military personnel, veterans, first responders, and healthcare professionals. We included this site as part of our Scenic Drive, in honor of Memorial Day, Monday, May 25th.

The ladies enthusiastically continued their celebration with a delightful Ladies Hour held in the Activity Center. During this special event, we presented Carmen with a thoughtful gift, recognizing and appreciating her contributions and talents within our community. We also extend our gratitude to our Chef for preparing a lovely and delicious assortment of appetizers, which were a highlight of our social gathering. The Ladies Day celebration proved to be a resounding triumph. The festivities commenced with the delightful performances of Carmen, our talented singer, accompanied by Rob Resestar on the grand piano. The audience was thoroughly entertained with renditions of classic American songs, enhanced by engaging trivia about some of the songs. The Atrium was filled to capacity with attendees, and later, the ladies enjoyed a social hour in their honor.

Our lunch bunch had a fantastic experience at KGs Cafe in Tucson. The food was absolutely delicious, and the waitstaff provided excellent service. We made sure to save room for their amazing homemade desserts, including lemon bars, apple pie, chocolate cake, and muffins. It was a wonderful place for our group to gather.
