This morning, our Desert Springs residents proudly completed the Tower Challenge Walk in honor of the heroes and victims of September 11th.

As we come together, we remember the tragic events of 9/11 and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged that day. Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor those we lost, the first responders who served so bravely, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

Thank you for your continued dedication to our community. We love giving back to those who have given so much for us.

We are especially grateful for American Legion Auxiliary Unit 73, including President Cindy, Sue, and Secretary Boots, for their commitment to supporting veterans, military families, youth programs, and community initiatives. Their selfless service helps strengthen our community and makes a lasting impact on so many lives.

A special surprise made the day even more memorable when Kasey joined as a volunteer and shared her musical talent by playing the piano for us. Our residents truly enjoyed the moment, and it was wonderful to see everyone come together through the joy of music.

At Desert Springs, we are honored to support organizations like the American Legion Auxiliary and to recognize the incredible work they do.

A big thank you to Joy Carmichael, BSN, RN, from Carmichael Care Connection for an engaging and educational afternoon at Desert Springs! Our residents had so much fun learning about drug-free pain management through interactive Bingo, hands-on demonstrations with a TENS unit, and exciting raffle prizes.

Many seniors are looking for ways to manage discomfort without relying solely on medication. Drug-free approaches can help support mobility, comfort, independence, and overall well-being. We appreciate Joy for sharing valuable information and practical tools that empower our residents to make informed choices about their health.

🌟 We were treated to a very special performance by our own Raiden Redford! 🎶

Raiden is a talented multi-instrumentalist who can play the ukulele, piano, and sing beautifully. Even more impressive, he's also one of our wonderful servers!

A big thank you to the Littlest Big Band!

Our residents had a wonderful time enjoying the talented duo, Bob Farley and Lynn Perdzock, of the Littlest Big Band! Thank you for bringing your jazzy, bright, and beautiful American Standards to Desert Springs.

From beloved classics of the 1920s through the 1950s, your music had our residents singing along, reminiscing, and tapping their toes. It was a delightful afternoon filled with smiles, memories, and wonderful entertainment.
