When asked what the Orting residents say about their town, these are some of the responses:
The river and farmland
The people and scoop there it is are my favorite things about Orting.
The local stores and restaurants, that everything is walking distance, there is always some kind of event, and it is beautiful!
Small town
The trails. No graffiti. No trash. No visible homeless. Familiar faces. Down town festivals.
How friendly and helpful everyone is out here
The people. We have some of the nicet people that live here
The Christmas / Holiday decorations and the view of the Mountain.

Foothills Trail and the walking trail near the golf course and beyond. Love ice cream at Scoop and meals at Los Pinos.
Orting students are inspiring. I love the fireworks on 4th of July (you can't change my mind). The stadium packed with community on Graduation day. Traditions like the Daffodil Parade, Red Hat Days, the Homecoming parade. When my kid was short a dime, someone kindly helped him out. It takes a village and the village is valued here. To see familiar faces through the years. Local businesses who have fed our families after late games and practices.
The nativity at Christmas, the Mountain View from my house, lil J’s, the walking path, safe community, ice cream shop, Arrow lumber, the city park, friendly business owners so grateful
The fact that I can open my door and not hear the hustle and bustle of larger cities.
It's peaceful here.

Orting is absolutely beautiful. Small town feel with an amazing view of the mountain.
Small town I can walk to church, Post Office, Bank , work, Safeway & many other places
