Hi! 👋 I figured it was probably time for a little “meet your local Realtor” post — but without the awkward “Hi, I sell houses, please hire me” part. 😂

I’m Laura!

I’m a Realtor with The Brad Mullen Team-Mullen Realty Associates but real estate for me has always been about a lot more than houses.

I love talking about the why behind a move.

Maybe you need more space because your family is growing. Maybe you’re ready to downsize and have less house to worry about. Maybe you’ve been dreaming about moving somewhere completely different. Or maybe you’re curious about buying your first investment property and have absolutely no idea where to start.

Those conversations are my favorite part.

Outside of real estate, you’ll usually find me with my family, at the barn, working on some project I probably convinced myself I could DIY 😂, dreaming up my next real estate idea, or anywhere near the water whenever I get the chance. 🌊🐴🏡

Real estate isn’t really about houses.

It’s about what the house makes possible and your journey getting there!

More room for your family.
A backyard for the dog.
An additional room for a new bundle of joy.
A kitchen everyone somehow ends up gathered in.
Living closer to the places you love.
Buying that first investment property.
Or finally making the move you’ve been saying you’ll make “someday.”

I think sometimes we get so caught up in bedrooms, bathrooms, interest rates and square footage that we forget why we wanted to move in the first place.

The house is just the address. The life you build there makes it home. 🏡❤️

So maybe the first question isn’t “Am I ready to buy?”

Maybe it’s…

“What do I want my life to look like?”

Then we figure out the real estate part from there.

Now that the fireworks are over, the grill has cooled off, and you're working your way through leftovers...

I have one question:

Did your home pass the Fourth of July test? 🤔

✔️ Did everyone have a place to sit?
🍔 Was the kitchen standing room only?
🚽 Did you wish you had one more bathroom?
🏃 Were the kids running laps through the house?
🌳 Did you catch yourself thinking, "A bigger backyard would be nice next year..."?

Sometimes it takes a holiday gathering to remind us what we love most about our homes—and what we've started to outgrow.
