t torch was passed on to Lauden in the late 1970's who was then joined by Hansel in the early 90's and Greg in 2013. Lauden and Hansel are both graduates of the University of Alabama. Lauden received a degree in Business Administration in 1962 and Hansel graduated in 1991 with a degree in Corporate Finance and Investment Management. Taking a much less conventional track, Greg pursued a degree in Theatre Arts from the University of South Florida, graduating in 1992. Hansel was quick to jump into real estate as an associate with his father Lauden's firm and earned his own brokers license in 1994. Greg spent some time working in the firm but ultimately heading off to Los Angeles to pursue his career as an actor. After 17 gratifying years in LA, Greg returned to follow in his family's footsteps and become a realtor. The three of us now work as the Pitts Legacy Team, boasting over 75 years of real estate knowledge and 1000's of properties sold in the Sarasota County area. The vast wealth of knowledge and experience we're privy to will be a tremendous asset, one that will benefit everyone with whom we work. Looking for an experienced local Realtor? Sarasota County has been home to Hansel Pitts since 1968. He grew up as the son and grandson of the developers of the Sorrento Developments and began working in these developments at age 12. In 1989, during summer break from the University of Alabama, Hansel got his Real Estate license. After graduating with a Corporate Finance and Investment Management degree, he began working as a Realtor at his father’s real estate company. In 1994, he obtained his Brokers license and later bought the business from his father. Since 2011, he has been affiliated with Coldwell Banker as a Broker-Associate, utilizing his vast knowledge of Sarasota County to assist sellers and buyers in their real estate transactions. He is joined by his father Lauden and brother Greg as part of the Pitts Legacy Team. Together they have over 75 years of experience and have sold thousands of properties here in Sarasota, Nokomis, Osprey and Venice. We are eager and excited to help you with your real estate needs!
