Standing proudly along the sandy shores of Provincetown, Wood End Lighthouse has been guiding mariners into Provincetown Harbor for more than 150 years!

Built in 1872, this picturesque 39-foot lighthouse sits at the end of Long Point, surrounded by beautiful beaches and sweeping coastal views. Automated in 1961 and converted to solar power in 1981, it remains an active navigational beacon today.

A beautiful reminder of Cape Cod's rich maritime history and one of the Outer Cape's most scenic treasures!

Stretching across the marsh toward Town Neck Beach, it remains one of the most picturesque walks on the Cape — with sweeping marsh views, salty air and the beach waiting at the other end.
