Just Sold!

This one is a little bit special. Jeremy and I have had the honor of getting to know this amazing (extended) family since moving into our house in Southbury. The son, his wife and family approached me a few months ago saying they wanted a house with land. We searched- we wrote offers. They had a list and every house we were needing to concede just a little. Either it was a little farther then they wanted- or it didn’t have the right number of bedrooms- or it was once a rooster fighting ring and needed massive clean up. (No joke) We were running out of time and had no options.

But I reached out to my network of local agents - gave them their wish list and there was a hit (in Oswego!!) !! We thought maybe it was too good to be true. We waited patiently for the seller to be ready and we walked in and immediately knew and felt this is what they had been waiting for. It was perfect price, perfect location, perfect home, perfect land- all of the things- check check check. And my clients were so excited- they made an offer that the sellers knew couldn’t be beat if they went live.

It was a win-win for all. I’m so elated for this family. Thankful for Johnny Noriega who got the loan part of it done and everyone else that helped along the way.

This one is kind of special. A few years ago, I saw a post from a desperate mom looking for her son's lovey. She had just been at Trader Joes and realized it wasn't with her when she got home. She sent out a plea asking for anyone going that way to keep their eyes open. I happened to be in the area when I saw that message and went to Trader Joes and found the lovey!! Fast forward a few years later and her family and her aunt decided to make the move to Florida!! She reached out and asked if I could help sell her aunt's home- and ironically, it happened to be in the neighborhood I grew up in!! There were definitely a couple bumps in the road but we got to the finish line and they are all now out of Illinois and in Sunny Florida!! Honored to have been able to help. Enjoy the sunshine state!!
