🎆Oswego Harborfest officially begins tomorrow evening! (The carnival does begin tonight.) Please be aware as you are enjoying the festival and Oswego that it's going to be extremely warm and humid tomorrow and Friday with some storms coming through Friday to break the heat.

Be sure to stay hydrated, find cool and shady spots to enjoy the entertainment, and take breaks when needed!

Fort Ontario State Historic Site is pleased to announce the return of Harborfest fireworks viewing from the ramparts of the old stone fort this year! A current membership with the Friends of Fort Ontario is required for entry. Memberships will be sold the day of at the sally port entrance. Space is limited and entry will stop when full. Parking is on a first come first served basis and will close when the main parking lot is full.

This event is a membership drive for the Friends of Fort Ontario. A 501 © 3 not-for-profit organization that supports educational events, historic preservation and much more at Fort Ontario. Membership starts at just $20 for an individual and $30 for a family (family level will allow entry of two adults and immediate children only) and $10 for seniors and veterans.

Entry will begin at 5:30pm on the 26th. No blankets or chairs will be allowed to be placed before then.
