A beautiful home, a new chapter and so much to celebrate! 🏡🌳

Happy Closing Day to my sweet sellers and friends!

When they reached out about selling their historic home in Elgin and relocating to a new community, I was grateful for the opportunity to help make it happen.

With the help of a wonderful agent I connected them with in their new hometown, we were able to coordinate both transactions to close on the very same day!

Everything was going great… until a TREE fell on the roof 😳🌳🏠

Yep. That happened.

My sellers did everything right to prepare their home for market - and it paid off with multiple offers.

Then came a few bumps in the road. We lost our first buyer, went under contract with a backup offer and then… those crazy storms sent a tree onto the roof.

The good news: We had the right people in place. One of my trusted roofing contractors stepped in, worked through the insurance process and we kept the sale moving forward.

Yesterday, WE CLOSED! 🎉

The buyers got a brand-new roof and gutter system, and my sellers get to move forward with the beautiful new home they’re building.

Real estate doesn’t always go according to plan. Having the right people beside you when it doesn’t can make all the difference.

✨ A closing day I’ll be smiling about for a long time!✨

A couple months ago a sweet seller found me online and reached out. We connected right away and I had the privilege of helping her navigate a big life transition.

Her goal was to sell her current home and move directly into her next one without the stress of temporary housing, storage units, or moving twice. As well as coordinating the timing with the kids summer schedule. Together, we created a plan that made it possible for both transactions to happen on the very same well-timed day.

Even more exciting, I was able to bring the buyer for her townhome - something that doesn’t happen very often!

Today, my sweet first-time homebuyer received the keys to his very first home, and my seller closed on the sale of her townhome and the purchase of her beautiful new home.
