We have been hearing miss information about people who do radon testing. So I thought I would let people know that any person that test for radon other than their own home does have to have a license for the specific types of testing devices they use. You do NOT have to be licensed to do mitigation work, however if you re-test your work then you have to be licensed. Please make sure that if you are doing any work with radon that you use a Licensed company.

Spring time temps on the way!!! So lets get the work done first. We have all sorts of pipes and wires sticking out of our exterior walls. All of these services should be sealed in. We suggest that you go around your home and add sealant to help stop water intrusion and protect your home. In this picture you can see there is none and the water will go right in the dwelling and could create very costly damage.

Winter is officially over today, yay!!! With all the melting snow make sure you check your sump pumps to make sure they are working correctly. We also suggest that you check your discharge pipes to make sure they are not frozen if you accidentally left any pipe extension connected over the winter.
