The new Trader Joe’s represents more than another opening in Merriam. This site sits at the front door of the City along Shawnee Mission Parkway, and from the beginning, the goal was to create something that would have a lasting impact on the community.

Projects like this don’t happen overnight. They take great partners, creative thinking and a lot of people working toward the same vision.

Last week, we finally got to celebrate all of that work coming to life.
