It's time for a mid-year check-up. The market is balancing after some volatile times during the pandemic. We are up to 2.7 months supply of inventory. With more homes on the market, it takes a bit longer to sell a home and days on market rise accordingly. The interest rates are still holding buyers back. Fewer buyers in the market mean fewer offers and some sellers are having to reduce from their original price. Despite the longer days on market and price adjustments, we are still seeing appreciation in property values. Some sellers are surprised by the amount of equity in their current home!
