Tuesday morning our office held its first weekly meeting of the year, where leadership shared exciting new things to come, goals, and their overall vision for 2026. While working to achieve what would become their vision, Gary Keller posed a question that stuck with our team: What problem are you trying to solve?
While January is often full of new goals, we don’t always think of each goal as a problem to solve, but rather a change to be made. An improvement. A redirection. But if we looked at each thing, or goal, as a problem to solve, it might help us identify what isn’t working for us, thus helping us to try a different tactic and find a solution that works.
Asking yourself the question, “What problem am I trying to solve?” can be used in all areas of your life. As Realtors, this is a question we can ask to help solve for what you’re needing so we know what to be looking for. Maybe your family has grown, so your problem is you need more space and another bedroom. Maybe you’re downsizing and need a house with minimal stairs. Maybe you’re a first-time homebuyer who is tired of renting and paying someone else’s mortgage. Or maybe you’re relocating for a job, to be closer to family, or simply because you’ve always wanted to live in X city. No matter what your “problem” is, we’re always here to help you solve and find just what it is you need and want. 💡🤯🏡🥰
