As the owner of "The Wagoner Real Estate Team", I would like to share my story of how it all started. My dad had just passed away from cancer and a wee
k later I moved down to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where I attended Oral Roberts University, to start a new job right out of college. From there, I did a wide range of jobs, from working at an ad agency, selling wedding photography, working at QuikTrip, and being a wedding DJ. It was during this time of losing my dad and just beginning my career as a young man, that began to look for guidance, direction, mentors and my life’s calling and passion. I met many people (including my wife!), worked different jobs, and attended a lot of lectures, seminars and classes. I learned a great deal during this time, but a few things stuck with me. I found that the truly happiest people I met were the ones making a difference in the lives of others and the world. They were focused on more than just their basic needs. I saw that the most successful people woke up earlier than most, were generous givers, were compulsive savers, never stopped learning, kept first things first, were experts in their chosen field, and had a plan and vision for their lives. I decided at that moment I too wanted to pursue a life of excellence, be an expert in my work, be a good stewardship, work hard, cultivate and cherish relationships and be a coach to others. It wouldn't be until December of 2014 until my wife, Kelly and I moved back to Kansas City. It was one of the best decisions of our lives. We were close to family, were starting a family of our own in a great city, and we joined the highly recognized and respected Keller Williams name. With all that I had learned and grown from, I was thrilled to be back in my home town as a real estate agent. As a new agent, I noticed that there were not a lot of Realtors who were experts in their career and the buying and selling process was less than desirable and had many flaws. Now, don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of real estate agents in Kansas City (many of them good), but I knew it could be done better. So that is when the light bulb came on! It was then “The Wagoner Real Estate Team” was born. As a team, we desired to be more than a realtor w/ a license and an MLS key. This is our full time job. We are a team that works hard, has a passion for excellence, never stops learning, gives back to the community in which we do business in, and holds integrity as a non-negotiable. From there, I decided to dedicate my time to creating the best, most productive experience possible for the clients we served with a team of talented, “go-getters” who were passionate about what they did. Our mission statement is:
