Most agents bring an employee mindset into an entrepreneur's world.

It works. Until it doesn't.

Chris Ward spent the first nine years of his real estate career working like an employee in a business he owned. Seven days a week. 60 to 100 doors a day. Open houses every weekend, rain or shine.

For Rachel Morrow it is simple. She wants to retire her mom.

At 24 she owns 12 rental units -- two fourplexes and two duplexes -- and her rental income covers everything she needs. She figured most of this out on her own, made expensive mistakes early, and now makes sure her clients never have to go through the same thing.
