This EMS Week, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank the incredible first responders who show up every single day with courage, compassion, and selflessness. From the dispatchers answering the calls, to the paramedics providing lifesaving care, to the leadership and training teams working tirelessly behind the scenes—your dedication never goes unnoticed.
Our family is especially proud to celebrate those closest to us who serve our communities through EMSA. Laney’s dad, who serves as Director of Operations, works endlessly to help lead and support the teams that keep emergency services running smoothly. Laney’s mom, the Communications Quality Assurance & Training Specialist, helps ensure dispatchers and communication teams are prepared, trained, and supported to provide the best care possible. And Tonya’s son, a dedicated paramedic at EMSA, is out on the front lines responding when people need help the most.
To every EMT, paramedic, dispatcher, trainer, supervisor, and first responder—thank you for the sacrifices you make, the long hours you work, and the lives you impact daily. Your strength, heart, and commitment make a difference in more lives than you’ll ever know.
