I am an Oklahoma Licensed Home Inspector, a graduate of American Home Inspector Training (AHIT®), and a Certified Professional Inspector® through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI®). Early on, I apprenticed for a general contractor, remodeling homes and building additions, and have maintained a life-long interest in homes, construction, and mechanical systems.
I spent the next 20 years in the professional Fire Service, often “disassembling” homes to root-out problems under emergency conditions. I retired from the professional Fire Service as a Battalion Chief, with duties including the determination of fire cause and the mitigation of emergencies involving homes just like yours and mine. When it comes to your home, I understand how it’s put together, how it works, and the ways it may cause you problems. Given the opportunity to serve you, I will provide my full attention and diligent service, the way I’ve always done. I am a family man. My favorite pastimes are just about anything that allows me to spend time with my wife and our four kids, including road trips, camping, and playing music. As a family, we have bought, remodeled, and sold several homes over the years, and I understand your concerns as you navigate escrow, purchase, prepare to sell, or work to maintain your home - likely your single largest investment! As a Christian, integrity is of the utmost importance to me. I will always treat you and your home with respect and work to provide you with the most complete information I can, through your inspection and report. I will always do my best to ensure that any questions you have about your home are answered. Jim Holland
