Starting at $20+/hour based on experience

You should be able to:
• Install flooring
• Handle basic residential plumbing repairs
• Perform general home repairs and maintenance
• Troubleshoot common residential issues
• Work independently and manage your time
• Communicate when there’s a problem
• Show up when you say you’re going to show up

We’re looking for someone dependable, capable, and comfortable working on their own.

The schedule has flexibility because we understand people have lives, kids have sports, appointments exist. We’ll work with you when we can. We just need the same respect in return.

💰 $20+/hour depending on your experience

We’re growing and looking to add TWO people to our crew!

🧹 PRN RESIDENTIAL CLEANER

This is a flexible, as-needed position cleaning residential rental homes after they become vacant and getting them fresh, clean, and ready for the next tenant.

What you’ll be doing:
• Cleaning vacant homes and apartments between tenants
• Kitchens, bathrooms, floors, appliances, cabinets, etc.
• Deep cleaning when needed
• Getting properties clean and move-in ready
• Working around a flexible schedule

This is a great position for someone looking to make extra money without committing to the same schedule every week.

🔧 MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

We’re also looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician with the possibility of becoming full-time.

This position has a flexible schedule and includes general maintenance and repairs at our residential rental properties.

Experience with basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, flooring, general repairs, and troubleshooting is a big plus.

🏠👨‍👩‍👦‍👦A LITTLE ABOUT WORKING WITH US

We understand kids, school schedules, sports, appointments, family stuff, and whatever plague the toddlers decided to bring home from daycare this week.

We’re normal people with families and lives outside of work, too. Shocker, I know🤷🏼‍♀️

We’ll work with you as much as we reasonably can. We just ask for the same respect in return. Communicate with us, be dependable, get your work done, and don’t take advantage of the flexibility.

We don't expect perfection, but we do expect reliability and accountability.

🎒 The annual migration of our tiny broke besties has officially begun. 🚌

Today's the day backpacks are bigger than the kids, parents are pretending they aren't going to cry *cough* celebrate 😉 and teachers deserve a raise before first bell even rings as there blood pressure rises one bruh at a time

From all of us at GL Management, we hope every student, teacher, bus driver, cafeteria worker, and school staff member has an incredible year.

A few friendly reminders:
🛑 Stop for the school buses, its law not a suggestion

🚸 Slow down in school zones!!!!!
☕ Give the teachers grace... and probably coffee
😅 Give the kids grace too. They've survived on hot pockets and sleeping till 3pm

Now for the important part...

📸 We want to see those first-day-of-school pictures! Drop them in the comments. Missing teeth, oversized backpacks, awkward middle school smiles, and "my teenager wouldn't let me take a picture" pictures are all welcome.

💢How to Spot a Rental Scam Before It Costs You Money💢

Scammers are working overtime because apparently getting an actual job was too much effort. They've even gone to tiktok!

Here are some red flags:

🚩Rent is way below market value.
🚩They won't let you tour the property.
🚩 They want a deposit before you've seen it.
🚩They claim they're "out of town."
🚩They pressure you to send money immediately.
🚩They only accept Cash App, Zelle, gift cards, or cryptocurrency.
🚩The listing is under different names or prices on multiple websites.
🚩They just created the facebook account and have some odd friends
🚩The area code doesnt match the state!

🔍 Before you send any money:
✅ Google the address. It'll often pull up old Zillow listings so you can compare photos and details.
✅ Check the county PVA records to verify who owns the property.
✅ Ask to tour the home.
✅ Read the lease before paying anything.

And for the love of all things holy you guys, please please please ......

🚫 Don't send Shaka Zulu your long lost prince uncle any Apple gift cards. (Or anyone else, for that matter.) If someone's asking for gift cards to rent a house, you're not renting a house. You're funding someone's terrible life choices.

Happy Father's Day from GL Management!
Today we're celebrating the dads who somehow work a 12-hour shift, come home exhausted, and still get volunteered to coach a ball game, hang a shelf, fix a lawn mower, unclog a drain, assemble a bicycle, and become a human jungle gym before bedtime.
The dads who:
🔧 Can fix a car with three tools, a flashlight, and language that would make a sailor uncomfortable.
⚾ Coach little league after working all day because their kid asked them to.
🛠️ Hang shelves, TVs, curtain rods, and pictures, then spend the next 20 years reminding everyone they did it.
🚗 Hear a strange noise in a vehicle and immediately become a mechanic.
🐒 Carry toddlers on their shoulders, wrestle kids in the living room, and serve as a climbing structure despite every joint in their body filing complaints.
🍔 Stand over a grill like it's a sacred responsibility.
📦 Own a garage full of parts that "might be useful someday."
🔌 Can rig together a temporary repair that somehow becomes a permanent repair.
To all the dads running on caffeine, stubbornness, and the inability to sit down for more than five minutes without someone needing something, we appreciate you.
You may not wear a cape, but you've probably worn a tool belt, coached a game, fixed an appliance, carried a sleeping kid to bed, and repaired something with zip ties all in the same day and And somehow, against all odds, still answer, "I'm just resting my eyes," while snoring in the recliner.

Nothing says "school's out" quite like putting teenagers to work so they can learn valuable life skills.
This week’s lesson: maintenance.
So far they've learned:
✅ How to paint and not the landlord special paint
✅ How to patch walls
✅ How to use tools properly
✅ How to clean up after themselves
And most importantly...
✅ What not to do if you'd like to avoid a tetanus shot on Day 2, Hunter was a good sport and took that booster like a champ, sorta😂

By the end of summer they'll either have a useful set of life skills or enough stories to keep an urgent care nurse entertained for years.
