Two years ago, I had the privilege of helping my former teaching colleague and his wife sell their Baltimore home in just one week so they could begin the next chapter of their lives in Chicago.
Today, while visiting Chicago to tour the Obama Presidential Library, my daughter and I were invited to dinner at their beautiful new home. It was such a joy to see them thriving and to catch up after all this time.
Experiences like this remind me that being a real estate agent is about so much more than helping people buy or sell a home. It's about building relationships, earning trust, and creating lasting friendships that continue long after the closing table.
