Good Evening To All My Friends, Family and Clients!
As you may or may not know, in-person real estate activities are now allowed to resume effective immediately in Pennsylvania. For the past few months, I have been waiting for this announcement to come in hopes that I could further meet the needs of my clients in the real estate marketplace.
So what does this mean for you?
1. If you are prepared to buy a home (or want to look at properties), we can proceed with certain precautions. We must limit the amount of people inside the home to no more than 3 (myself plus a maximum of 2 buyers). Gloves, masks, disinfectant, and booties should be worn inside the homes we preview. Also, we must limit contact with components inside the home. Buyers will need to sign a health and safety acknowledgement form as well as a form outlining the assumption of risk when entering another person's house.
2. If you are ready to list and sell your home, we can proceed with some precautions. You will have to sign the same forms mentioned above which will allow buyers to be able to walk through your home. We will no longer have overlapping appointments allowed. I would encourage all sellers to leave their lights on and doors open so limited touching takes place during the showing.
As you can imagine, I’m hard at work preparing for your purchase or sale. I am lining up photographers for new listings, signs are going in yards and lockboxes are going on doors. Buyers are reaching out to set up appointments to see homes in the upcoming weeks. My schedule is filling up quickly, so please have a few different days and times in mind that work best for you.
