Hello everyone! Neil Manson here. A resident just pointed out that he and three other neighbors right around him had the pressure reducing valve fail on the the water unit outside. This is the unit that's in your front yard, right by the sidewalk. If that valve fails, the water pressure on your pipes goes to the maximum. Mine also failed this year, resulting in my hot water heater constantly having its pressure release valve activating.

Since all the houses were built at the same time, lots of things fail in the neighborhood at the same time (a few years ago it was garage door openers).

I just got an update from the County about the roadwork at the top end of Yocona Ridge Road. There are utility crossings at both spots and with erosion underneath, the road sagged. They have filled in those spots and are now letting them settle. In the near future, the County will come through and pave those spots. I don't know if that means days or weeks. In order to prevent delays, please do not park your cars by the side of the road where the fill is visible.

Hello neighbors. I just found out that the County will be installing a liner to the pipe that connects the intersection of River Run and Birch Tree Loop with the detention pond. They are going to start this work in about three weeks. When they do, they will need to bring in heavy equipment and they will block off that intersection.
