Our property is home to one of the oldest living species on our planet. The gopher tortoise. They are important to our ecosystem, so we are creating a gopher tortoise preserve where our friendly neighbors can create burrows that shelter frogs, owls and even endangered indigo snakes. These guys are herbivores and weigh around 12 pounds and can live up to 70 years in the wild. Their burrows can go as deep as 10 feet and can be as long as 40 feet. They are sure to be one of our most popular residents!

Smaller passive parks, many within sight of virtually every house, will allow opportunities for quiet reflection and connecting with nature. With over 1,200 acres dedicated to greenspace and wetlands, nearly 50% of Jubilee will remain in a natural state.
