Happy Birthday to my Mom!

Today we celebrate the woman who taught me the value of hard work, kindness, perseverance, and always showing up for the people you love. You’ve been an incredible mom, grandmother, friend, and role model, and our family is better because of you.

Thank you for all the sacrifices, the lessons, the laughter, and the love you’ve given over the years. I hope today is filled with family, fun, and all the things that make you smile.

Happy Birthday, Mom! We love you more than words can say and are so grateful for every memory we’ve shared and all the adventures still ahead.

517WM, Jackson Tower, cleared to land Runway 19!!

What a crazy beautiful flight from Bozeman. We crossed over Big Sky, followed the Madison River Valley, then watched the Tetons rise out of the horizon before dropping into Jackson Hole. Every mile of this route is postcard-worthy, and the views just keep getting better.

This is one of those flights that reminds you exactly why we fly. We will definitely be doing this one again.

Jackson Hole!! Was crazy insane flying over the Grande Tatons and landing in Jackson Hole. Scenery is insane but less wildlife than Yellowstone. Early Birthdinner with Mom at the Cowboy bar and turns out our room in in Driggs ID, no problem, nice drive over the pass!!

Day 2 of Mom’s Big Montana (and Wyoming) Adventure!

Yellowstone is BIG. We entered through the North Entrance, crossed the park, and came out the East Entrance before making our way through Cody and over to Red Lodge. If you haven’t driven this route, put it on your bucket list.

We saw people skiing and snowmobiling… in June! We also saw what felt like a million bison, plus bears, elk, deer, mountain goats, and just about every other critter Yellowstone has to offer.

The scenery was absolutely unreal, and every turn seemed to bring another postcard view. What a day!

Mom’s Big Montana Adventure!! ✈️🏔️

Today we pointed the Sling TSi north and got this adventure rolling. We departed Pagosa Springs, made a quick stop in Lander, Wyoming for fuel and a bathroom break, then continued on to Bozeman. Had a chance to stop by Voormi and catch up with some great friends before making the beautiful drive over the pass to Livingston.

Tonight we’re staying at the historic Murray Hotel, getting ready to explore Yellowstone and see where the next few days take us.

I have a feeling Mom is going to see a whole lot of country before this trip is over. So far, Montana is delivering in a big way!

Looks like I may have found a pretty good spot to spend a few days chasing cutthroats…

In less than two weeks, we’ll be standing in those meadows with PJ’s Fine Bamboo rods in hand, drifting hoppers through crystal-clear mountain water and watching hungry trout rise. The views from the Sling TSi are incredible, but they’re nothing compared to having your boots in the river and a fish on the line.

The countdown is on.
