Sometimes during the construction process, builders have to make corrections as the plans dont always align with the installation of materials. We call this field modifications. As we seek in this video, the repair was inadequate and needed correction to properly support the rood structure.

Easy fix and not a significant issue at this point but something that needs to be addressed.

I know there are tons of tik tok inspectors who love to make a big deal out of everything but not everything needs to be broadcasted as a "major find". The "that ain't right" or the "cytations" of the world want you to believe. Everything that is found in a home can be fixed. Remember that when you're going through the inspection process.

The most important part of an inspection is to understand your home and its physical condition and understand proper corrections so you are an informed buyer.

So a little backstory on this inspection.

Buyer agent prior to the inspection, sent me a photo of the roof with a full continous bulge for an entire roof span asking for my opinion on the concern. Well its hard to determine issues without seeing everything so I told them id have to come to the property to evaluate. The owner and the buyer, both had general contractors come out to take a look but they couldn't figure it out before I went out.

So inspection day comes and you know how WE DO IT over here! Thorough is my middle name!

Well kinda hard to assess if you dont climb inside the attic!

Trusty Joe climbs in and locates and identifies the issue!

Dont skip an inspection and dont go cheap! A great inspector is worth every penny spent!
