Eric’s favorite part of being a Realtor is creating relationships. “When you share a common interest with someone; whether it’s cooking, sports, pets, theatre, or even real estate, the bond and trust seem to come naturally. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio/TV/Film Production from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Eric worked in the Performing Arts Industry as a pro
fessional dancer for almost two decades performing alongside Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, the Mandrell Sisters, and Gregory Hines (to name a few) before “hanging up” those shoes and putting on the Realtor hat. “It was a natural transition because to be good you have to connect with the audience just like in real estate.”
After moving to Florida in 1998, Eric immediately became a licensed Realtor and Palm Beach County top producing agent through diligent business planning and outstanding customer service. He was chosen as the Rookie of the Year (2001) and Florida Realtors Associate of the Year (2010). He still loves to be “in the field,” but has taken on additional duties (2016) as the District Sales Manager for Illustrated Properties LLC Palm Beach. Eric’s Experience working with buyers and sellers and surpassing the $125M sales mark many years ago give him great perspective when coaching agents. Eric says it is exciting to help them develop their business skill, negotiating ability, and network to take their business further than ever expected. “It gives me great satisfaction building the future of the real estate and helping people fulfill their dream of homeownership,” says Sain. Volunteering has always been a big part of Eric’s life from the time he was a teenager at the Catawba County YMCA through his adulthood in the REALTOR organization. Locally, Eric has served on almost every committee, was elected President of the REALTORS Association of the Palm Beaches (2009) and started the YPN Chapter there. State Service includes RPAC Trustee (2008-2013), Public Policy Chair (2011), District 3 Vice President (2012), Realtor Party Town Hall Chair (2013), Secretary (2015), Treasurer (2016), Vice President (2017), President-Elect (2018) and President (2019). Nationally, Eric is proud to lend expertise on the Board of Directors(2007-2009, 2012-Present), Housing Needs (2007-2008), State and Local Issues (2009-2013), Public Policy Coordinating Committee Chair 2017 (2011-2014, 2016-Present), Legislative & Political Forum chair(2014), RPAC Participation Council (2014-2016), RPAC Fundraising Trustee (2014), Multi-Cultural Real Estate Advisory Group Chair (2017), Federal Disbursements Liaison (2018), Professional Standards (2019) and Commitment to Excellence Vice Chair (2019) plus several PAGs and Work Groups. Eric Sain is the Immediate Past President of Florida Realtors and the District Sales Manager for the Keyes Company Realtors in Palm Beach County Florida. Eric finds equal pleasure in helping agents and his customers alike. “It is exciting to help Realtors develop better business skills and negotiating ability, but equally as fulfilling to help my customers find the home of their dreams,” he says. With over two decades of experience in the real estate industry Eric has served on Public Policy Coordinating Committee, a Liaison to the Federal Disbursement Trustees and continues his service to the NAR as the 2020 Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) Chairman. With 22 years of experience, He is active in the City of West Palm Beach city government as the Vice Chair of the Affordable Housing Committee, Vice Chair of the Flood Plain Management Committee, and works with the Water Advisory Board. In the rare instances when not “real estate-ing,” Eric enjoys time with his Wheaten Terrier, Reagan, visiting local eateries and the theatre.
